nice to meet you…

Hey! I’m Stephie and welcome to Tea in your Twenties!

I’m a writer, performer, over thinker and above all, tea drinker. I currently live in Pennine Lancashire (Blackburn to be precise) and I work in theatre. Here is where I muse on everything my twenties and life has thrown at me so far, as well as the odd picture of a good slice of cake.

I started this blog back in 2012, the year after I graduated, when I first decided to really dedicate myself to following a career in theatre. I started my own theatre company and you can find out more about that here, but I’ve also waitressed, stressed out and right now I’m a programmer (I decide which shows get put on!). Of course, following your dream is never easy (especially if that dream involves working in the arts) but it seemed like an adventure, and I thought I would document that here.

Since then I’ve fallen in love with blogging. If I don’t get all these thoughts I have in my head onto the screen I honestly worry that I might explode. I write about careers, dating, the best place for a cup of tea, going vegan, feminism, body confidence, and basically, anything else you might have a conversation with your best friend about.

I love hearing from you, and if you want to get in touch with me about anything from guest posting, writing a review for you, or just to say hi you can email me at stehanieclaire@teacuptheatre.com.

I hope you stick around long enough to stick the kettle on!

Live life & drink tea x

  1. Writing is the best kind of therapy. Your blog is absolutely lovely, and I am so happy to have found it. I love the universality of thoughts and feelings–I identify so much with your postings, though I live half a world away. โค
